History

The stages of continuous and significant growth

Since our founding in 1991, Altair has been involved in air dedusting and filtration. Over the years we have expanded our expertise and our team, moved to much larger and more functional headquarters, and grown. Growth that has been (and still is) continuous and significant. Here are the milestones of this long journey that began over thirty years ago, which we want to continue by working alongside all the customers who are continuing to place their trust in us.

Founding of Altair Srl, a company involved in air dedusting and filtration.

After an initial adjustment, the division that deals with the dedusting sector is expanded: an automatic line capable of developing more than 2,000 models between cartridges and filter bags is created.

An in-house control and analysis center sees the light of day, which has enabled us since that time to offer our customers a comprehensive service regarding the most correct filter size (cartridge or sleeve) depending on the different types of polluting dust. Since 1995, therefore, we have been able to analyze any type of dust and indicate to our customer the most suitable filter solution and the most suitable crossing speed.

We sign an exclusive agreement with one of the world’s largest manufacturers of polyesterfilter fabric, with the aim of guaranteeing our customers a high-quality and exclusive product, meanwhile continuing with our ongoing research for the development and creation of innovative filter fabrics.

Customers and work still grow, and so an expansion of the production site by 2,000 square meters becomes necessary.

This is the year that propels us into the future. We move to the new plant in Via Caselle, in the artisan area of Leinì, on a total area of more than 16000 square meters, of which 6500 are covered and 800 are office space. We took advantage of this to renew the existing production cycles thanks to the extra space, which allowed us to expand the warehouse: as a result, production capacity also increased.

Thirteen years after our move, we need new space! We have expanded our Leinì plant again with 2800 square meters, which will also include a training room that will be used for both internal and external training.
